Translation is a difficult art. English versions of the 3 original Millenium books are trustful to the original Swedish.
On their side, the French translations are really bad to read because been rewrite into a tasteless “debranded” text.

True Detective was the first time I heard of Jameson, episode 4 (with the red tool box). Back then it wasn’t even imported in my country, but since that time it has fortunately become a niche product. It’s sweet like dessert but contrary to other sweet-tasting whiskeys it does “abuse” you (burn your throat etc.) or overstay its welcome. As Horst Lüning said in his review, it’s the optimal whiskey for alcoholics. All these things considered, I’m almost certain it was the personal choice of either the director (or production designer or art director), and not a product placement. It’s in-line with the coherency of the show: the detectives depicted are professionals who care about their physical and spiritual well-being, not some Jack Daniels guzzling criminals… if you know what I mean.

So I was sitting in an Italian lunch restaurant really in the middle of nowhere and this song comes on!! i dont know how or which radiostation decided to play this or how they came across this song, but it was Marnie’s ‘what I am’.. CRAZYYY!!!

Good afternoon . Knowing that film production relays heavily on making sure that all productions have safe , clean , modern equipment such as hair / makeup trailers , camera trucks and costumes trailers . Why are there no awards for vendors who supply such equipment that allows make up people etc perform their skills to the fullest potential ?
